I discovered that Picture Trail was closing purely by accident. I was looking for information about something else. I am sad about this for several reasons.
This is the second time this has happened to me – losing a photo site. First one was a free site. Thankfully, I have all my photos on my own computer so neither time am I losing photos.
Since I was already paying for PT and I wanted a website again, I went for it and decided to get my own domain. I had to learn how to use this site and set it up. I don’t want just blog posts. I wouldn’t be able to stand the chaos. To me, blogs are focused on the most recent. I have things I want to share from my collection and those aren’t always recent.
Today I am officially launching my new site.
