This shop was created using the same basic techniques as Janie’s Fine China. It was made as a swap with Anita McNary Hayes. She has been quite an inspiration to me and is responsible for starting the MSAT Microminis group (now on groups.io as https://groups.io/g/Microminis). She continually keeps us going with new kits and words of wisdom and praise. I was deeply honored that she asked me to make her this shop.
In addition to how I made Janie’s shop, I added some extras to this one. The base is made from a paint finish sample card. These cards are available at hardware stores. This one made a great flagstone design. The lamp base is a bead and the shade is paper. The vines are made by gluing bits of landscape foam along a line.
